I spent a large part of my undergraduate years as a university tutor and absolutely loved helping students understand and excel in their courses. I want to pass that same passion for math and science to my students at Varsity Tutor. I have recently graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelors in Biomedical Sciences and two minors in Psychology and Biophysics. I would say my most effective strategy for students struggling in a course is patience and creativity. There are a million ways to solve a problem, my job is to find what clicks for you. As a student, I also understand the importance of active learning, information is retained a lot better when the tutor-student relationship is a collaborative effort.
