I am a graduate of Towson University with a Bachelor's of Science in Physical Education. I have also completed extensive graduate level work focusing on teaching, coachng, and administration at the University of Texas. This work was online. Currently, I am pursuing (2018) a Master's of Education with a focus on educational leadership and school improvement. My goal is to be an assistant principal in the next couple years. I am a middle school Physical Education and Health department chair. I have worked at my school for 13 years. I also coach cross country, girl's basketball, and track. For several summers I ran a summer program through my school. The program focused on maintaining and improving math and reading skills over the summer months. While I love physical education and health, I also enjoy working with students in math. I love when a student has that "a-ha moment" and everything clicks. As an avid reader I also like to work with students in reading especially reading comprehension. I am open to working with all ages of students because each age group brings new challenges and forces a new level of creativity. I truely believe every student has the ability to learn and reach high levels of succes when taught in the manner that is best for them. My tutoring style is very individualized as no two people learn in exactly the same way.
Outside of school world I enjoy reading, swimming, traveling, crafts, sports, and photography.
