I earned a B.A. in German from Virginia Tech, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in German Language and Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have fourteen years of teaching experience, including undergraduate courses in German language, literature, and culture at all at levels and pedagogy courses for graduate students. Since completing my doctorate, I worked in university administration, managing student programs relevant to world cultures and languages. I have recently returned to the classroom, teaching German 101 and 102.
