I received my degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in May of 2017. During my time in high school and college, I tutored middle and high school students in subjects such as math, physics, reading, and test prep. Math and physics are my favorite subjects to tutor because I love abstract thinking and applying abstract thoughts to the real world. When teaching mathematics, I believe it is imperative that a student understands why they doing what they are doing, and how it works rather than route memorization of how to solve particular equations. I also believe that practicing test taking techniques is equally as helpful as practicing the material itself when preparing for standardized tests.
In my free time I like to tinker, read, and play my drums.
