My education includes a BA in psychology and a Masters in Education. I have experience working with students that have special needs with learning, behavior, and their attention. I am Orton-Gillingham trained to teach children with reading difficulties.
Over the years, I have used various strategies to improve student learning in the classroom and while tutoring. I have a passion for tutoring because I can focus on the learning style of the student to help them improve academically. One on one educational help can help a student thrive even more.
I am currently a teacher and I have taught school for over 23 years. During my years of teaching, I have taught all subjects for grades 2-6.
I am passionate about students learning and teaching students. Working-one-on-one is important to me because students get the opportunity to have the support they need.
