I received my Bachelors in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of California: San Diego. After I received my bachelors, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in education so I stayed in San Diego and received my masters in education from UCSD as well.
I have always been interested in tutoring and teaching students. As soon as I left high school, I knew that I wanted a career in education. Before college, I was briefly tutoring youth at a community center in my city. Once I got to college, I went into my specialty of science and have tutored students in all subjects and with all goals in mind.
I have tutored students in all disciplines of science including biology, chemistry, and physics. I also tutor lower level math very well.
The biggest qualification would be that I am a current high school teacher. Being a teacher has helped me improve my craft immensely and I can guarantee that the material stays fresh in my mind and forces me to have a wide array of teaching strategies for all students.
