I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in physics from Cal Lutheran University in 2015, where I was chosen as a Department Assistant for the physics department. Duties included tutoring fellow college students and setting up lab experiments and grading lab reports, both of which I enjoyed very much. I used to be afraid of math and science classes, and tried to avoid them for most of my college career. I originally was a psychology major, but my lack of enjoyment of the courses led me to jump into physics and change my major after transferring from Moorpark College to CLU. My older brother has always been interested in physics, and I think his love for it finally rubbed off on me. I now am studying for the Physics GRE to join my brother in a doctorate program at CUNY.
I am passionate about helping students because I have been where they have been, struggled where they struggled, and am able to identify and alleviate their issues. My favorite subjects to tutor are all physics courses and the mathematics they utilize, which include Calculus I, Calculus II, and Calculus III.
In my spare time when I'm not studying, I like to play golf, play guitar, and relax with my bulldog Lucy.
