I have 10 years of experience in the field of education within the English as a Second language industry. This includes both corporate, private and formal educational settings. As a Corporate Trainer, I am able to speak in front of a crowd, produce and understand training materials, work closely with individuals and evaluate how well they have learned. As a teacher and administrator, I have helped hundreds of students become fluent in English in preparation for travel, business purposes, and personal matters. I was the in-house business language teacher for C-suite executives at Newlink Media, Kanaldi, CAT and various other companies. I have also had the distinct pleasure of working with various institutes. I was also the elementary, middle and high school ESL school teacher in Thailand and South Korea. In Miami Beach, while at a small fine arts college, I was the Education Director of the ESL School and assisted with accreditation procedures and data collection. I also led the language tutorial program while the school branch was open. I have an easy-to-follow method based on the communicative method, and I aim to incorporate a conversational approach into each lesson which gets students speaking from the first day; however, if you prefer a more academic approach, I also taught a full language program that incorporates speaking, reading, writing, grammar, listening and pronunciation. My material covers all aspects of functional language related to speaking about yourself and your friends or family, discussing your job, getting around town, shopping, eating out at a restaurant, talking in a general way about wants, and talking about the future.

Q & A
What is your teaching philosophy?
I encourage students to ask questions and to have fun learning! There is no such thing as a boring class when you hire me as a teacher! My students have a great time learning "boring" subjects.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
I would assess the learner and outline student goals to manage expectations, which would allow the student to make progress via detailed, custom made lessons.
