I am a recent law school graduate, waiting for my Bar Exam results.
I spent many years in college searching for my "right fit" in the academic world, because of that search, I have an intensely varied background. My first year of college I was a biochem major, by the end of college I was digging in tombs in Ireland, now I'm a Bar applicant for the state of Ohio. I would love to help others with the knowledge I gained during that journey.
I primarily work with college and graduate level writers, who need that extra boost in their papers and prompts. I love helping my students see their work from a different angle and think a little more critically about how they are writing. Having just studied for the Bar Exam, I would also love to help paralegal, law, and pre-law students think and learn more like a lawyer. My skills in that area include test preparation (criminal law, evidence, wills and trusts, UCC, and contracts), case preparation, and legal writing. I am also very happy to tutor beginner Mandarin students, taking Chinese in college (and gaining part of my degree in it), was one of the most difficult but rewarding things I have ever done, it would be my pleasure to help students in that field. I am also happy to help students who want to improve their scores on the Science portion of the ACT, thinking scientifically has always been a strength of mine.
