I have been a certified teacher for 14 years. I have three degrees, Associate's, Bachelor's, and Master's in the Art of Teaching. I also have two endorsements in ESOL and Gifted. I've been tutoring for five years in math, reading, and phonics. My favorite subjects are reading and phonics. Reading is very important because it is incorporated in every subject. My teaching philosophy is "The one who does the teaching, does the learning;" meaning when I teach my students, I have them teach it back to me. I can then assess what they've learned. Students also teach me how to teach them. My passion for teaching is the wind beneath my wings that drives me to challenge my students in becoming academically successful, consistently!
