My name is Gideon Nachman and I graduated from Harvard with an Honors Degree in English, with a secondary in East Asian Studies. At Harvard, I was a Bureau of Study Council Tutor and Vice President of the Harvard Lampoon.
My teaching style is focused on positively engaging students with the source material, and making sure they understand the broader ideas behind the subject, and not just the 'tips' and 'cheats' for a test. I am also a big believer in the maxim that 'The best student is the prepared student,' and I try to ensure that everyone I tutor is organized, methodical, and ready to encounter any area of their chosen subject.
Outside of tutoring I love soccer (playing and watching,) improv comedy, and reading short stories.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions and I look forward to working with you.
