I first began tutoring while working on my master's degree in Colorado. I absolutely fell in love with mentoring and watching people grow and thrive; learning to do for themselves and become confident in a way they hadn't been prior. Witnessing those "ah-ha" moments were, at the very least, some of the most fulfilling moments of my own life.
While gaining my tutoring experience, I had simultaneously began my career in the museum field. I quickly found a fit in the education department, both developing and presenting education programs to the public.
After becoming pregnant with my third child, I decided to seize the chance to stay at home with them. I spent three years focused on their development until my husband and I made the choice to move back to our home state of California and I found myself joining the workforce once more. While I shifted gears into the solar industry, I still have a passion for history, as well as teaching and am looking forward to getting back to that with tutoring once more.
