Hello! My name is Rebecca. I am a recent graduate form the University of California, Merced, with a Bachelors of Science in Human Biological Sciences and Psychology Minor. I am 22 years old and live with my family in Roseville, CA. I have two cats and a younger brother.

I enjoy learning anything related to the human mind, and am interested in neuroscience, cognitive science, and psychology. I also have an interest in computer science and consider it a hobby of mine. Currently I am learning how to web design so that I may open my own website or blog. I also write creatively as a hobby.

I am well-traveled and always go somewhere new at any opportunity. In fact, I have lived in many places throughout my life - places like India, New Zealand, New Jersey, and now even California. Additionally I have visited places such as Thailand, Australia, Mexico, and Canada (to name a few). I have also studied abroad in the Netherlands and traveled to numerous places in Europe, as well as volunteer abroad in the Dominican Republic. I would say I am still looking out for opportunities to see the world. I am always open to talking about it at any time!

Feel free to contact me should I interest you as a prospective tutor. Thank you!

Q & A

What is your teaching philosophy?

My teaching philosophy is that teachers and tutors are there not only for students to understand the subject, but to help the student comprehend how they learn. This is they key to academic success - learning how a student learns best ensures they understand the ways in which they can get a grasp on learning any subject, in general.
