Hello! I am a very down to earth person who loves sharing my knowledge with others. My approach to tutoring is to find a learning technique that best suits the student since everyone learns differently. I do my best to use relatable real world examples when possible. I start from topics that my students are comfortable with to gauge their abilities and then move gradually to more complex topics as their understanding improves. I mainly focus on exam-style questions to check their understanding.

I not only want to be a tutor—I hope to act as a mentor as well. I encourage my students to think for themselves so they can become independent. Thank you for taking your time to read my profile.

Q & A

What is your teaching philosophy?

My strategy is to become friends with the students so they can freely voice their concerns without feeling judged, and then I encourage them to ask the question "why" to help them stay motivated and to help them understand why they have to learn certain subjects.
