I am from Ecuador. My first language is Spanish. I have been a private tutor for kids and adults since 2013. I enjoyed tutoring Spanish because I can change and improve lives. Tutoring young kids and teenagers is challenging because I have to find different ways to make the lesson educational and fun. However, I feel like teaching them help me to develop my imagination to create an interesting lesson for each student. Everyone is unique; for that reason, every lesson is different to fit the students needs. In addition, I know the difficulty in learning a new language I went through the process myself when I learned English. Therefore, I can motivate you and help you with tips to make learning a foreign language an easy and fun process. I cover in my lessons: grammar, writing, reading, conversation, pronunciation and understanding. Together we can make Spanish enjoyable!!!! I believe that if you have the desire of learning, that is all we need. Learning a new language is difficult but only with practice and guidance you can achieve your goal. Let me be your tool to success.
When I am not teaching, I work as a professional interpreter and a translator. I enjoy my job because I can transform a confusing idea to a meaningful one. I help people to communicate when the language is a barrier.
Also, I like to listen to educational podcast while I cook or while I am driving. In addition, I am passionate about exercising and having a healthy and meaningful life. In fact, I work out at least 5 day per week. I do yoga, swimming, spinning, Zumba, kickboxing.
I enjoy diversity and knowing different people from different background. I have both worlds. Being a native Spanish tutor. I can help you with the language and merge you in the Latin America culture.
