My passion for teaching began when I was in High School in Haiti. My mother got me a big blackboard and I would try to solve every single Math, Physics, and Chemistry problem in the books assigned in my school plus all types of state practice exams. Since I demonstrated good knowledge and understanding of these subjects, during these sessions at home or at a neighborhood school my friends would select me as the head teacher because of my patience and ability to focus on the students' strengths instead of their weaknesses. As a tutor/teacher, I tend to get to the students' level and try to relate each problem to a real-life situation that they recall in their daily living.
