I am a graduate student working on my M. S. in teaching Communication Arts and Literature. I have a B. A. in English Literature from the University of Minnesota. I have been coaching debate for six years. This has included teaching reading, writing, research and public speaking to middle and high school students.
As a student, I learned best when I had one on one attention from an instructor who took time to get to know me and my goals. I hope that as a tutor I have the opportunity to provide that to my students. In addition to homework, I can help with state and admissions exams and also work with students on admissions essays or other writing.
