I am a second year law student at Loyola Law School where I am working towards receiving my Juris Doctorate. I am passionate about helping others especially in the educational field. I want to leverage my prior tutoring/teaching experiences to help each and every individual succeed. The highlight of my tutoring/teaching experience has always been when a student understands a new concept or they find excitement in a topic they never thought they would enjoy!
I received my bachelor's degree at University of California, Irvine as a Political Science major. I enjoyed learning about global politics and analyzing political activity in different nations and also right here, in the United States.
My favorite subjects to tutor include, History, Spanish, American History, Political Science, Social Sciences, Writing, Reading, English, Language Arts and Basic Math. Even though these are wide variety, these are some of the courses that I enjoyed when I was a student in elementary school, high school and college.
Outside of academics, I enjoy being on a trial advocacy team. Currently, I am on a nationally ranked trial advocacy team and enjoy developing my public speaking skills. I attend mock trials and compete with other law schools. I also enjoy baking and finding new recipes online to cook.
I am open to suggestions about what the best learning methods are for each individual.
I hope to provide a positive outlook towards any subject I teach and make it a memorable experience!

Q & A
What is your teaching philosophy?
Since confidence is a key factor in excelling, I would provide positive reinforcement that he/she is doing great on certain topics and that if they just work a little harder they can also excel in the parts of the subject that they find to be difficult.
