I am a doctoral student in Spanish at the University of Pennsylvania. I obtained a bachelor's degree in Spanish and Classics from Bates college, so I have a wide array of interests that span second language acquisition, literature, writing, and history. I am proficient in Spanish and Latin, and I enjoy working on my French. At U-Penn, my research focuses on Medieval and Renaissance literature from Spain and Latin-America, interests which I am always happy to talk about. I enjoy helping others achieve their goals when it comes to language learning, and to make the seemingly painful topic of grammar as interesting as it truly is! I also have extensive experience tutoring the SAT verbal section.
