It is my special and professional undertaking to infinitely expand horizons through scholarship (its foundation, assessment, and indebtedness). Until my semi-retirement, I dedicated my energies to my students and their career development. I have experience teaching Computer Science discipline and its sub-fields that include Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, and Information Systems.
As an academic, I taught various courses that fall into the sub-fields mentioned above. These include a host of courses that include, but not limited to: Programming Languages (Java, C++, C#, C, Python, Lisp, Dot Net, VB), Operating Systems Design, Databases (Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, Dbase), Computer Architecture, Intelligent Systems, Software Engineering, Human Computer Interaction, Concurrency, Usability Engineering, Compiler Construction, Systems Analysis & Design, Discrete Mathematics, Languages, Computation & Automata, Computer Graphics, Analysis of Algorithms, Data Structures, Computational Complexity, Networks, Data Communication, Telecommunications, Parallel and Distributed Computing, Multiprocessors, Assembly Level Machine Organization, System Organization and Architecture, Modeling and Simulation, Internet Technologies and theory to a diverse range of students (ranging from freshmen throughout postgraduates, those in terminal degree programs).
I have a PhD in Computer Science. I worked for several years as a Professor of Computer Science. I was associated with a few universities over the years, and my last service was with the State University of New York. I taught and worked with students on research projects in addition to teaching and mentoring them for their career development. I enjoy helping my students plan their careers and helping them meet their college requirements, internships, and getting jobs. My expertise in the discipline of computer science will be an asset to all types of students- whether they will computer scientists, software engineer, information technologists or any of the many fields derived from computer science.
I am an assiduous and detail-oriented educator. My unswerving and nonchalant demeanor makes me approachable and pleasant to work with. I am comfortable teaching all elements of computer science of software engineering. I am also keen to urge my students to be zealous in learning interdisciplinary courses such as the arts, literature and the natural sciences, and the likes as they all contribute to the enrichment of the student's life and career. I look forward to tutoring you!
