I have been a tutor for over 5 years and a teacher for 4 years. I have taught in 4th and 6th grade and love working with middle and high school students. I received my M.A. in Educational Psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver and focused on human development during my studies. I hope to help students develop the confidence to find and pursue their passions. Outside of school, I love to run, do yoga (especially yoga sculpt), go hiking, watch movies, and ski during the winter.

What is your teaching philosophy?
To help students build the confidence to identify and pursue their passions.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
It is important to get to know one another, so you are welcome to ask any questions about me. I also would love to hear/see what interests you.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
Building confidence is a huge piece of the puzzle. When you feel positive about the content, you are more likely to remember it.
