I love teaching math. I have been doing it for 27 years now, and have been successful with helping students who are having difficulties as well as those wishing to expand and accelerate their learning. I hope to continue to help students through this website.

Q & A
If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?
Try to find different ways to approach the topic and investigate to find out if there are prerequisite skills or misconceptions that are interfering with learning the topic at hand.
How do you build a student's confidence in a subject?
By helping them be successful of course! Breaking a topic down into smaller sections to accomplish can help with that. As students see themselves being successful with parts, it is easier to put those parts together.
