I graduated from the University of Washington in 2017 with a degree in Physiology, and am currently applying to medical school. Aside from tutoring, I am a certified Emergency Medical Technician, and also volunteer with disabled students and in hospice. My hobbies include Indian classical dancing, volleyball, pastel paintings, and eating Thai food religiously. When I was a student, I had many tutors who helped me along the way. Attending an extremely competitive high school, it was hard to feel proud of my accomplishments at times. My tutors not only taught me how to comprehend material, but played a huge role in helping me believe in my own abilities. As a tutor, I want to give back in the same way my tutors impacted me. I understand that each students learning style is unique, and as such, I am always prepared to try various techniques until I find one that caters best to the student. My goal for my students extends beyond producing good grades and test scores; I want my students to believe in themselves and understand that they are in control of their own success and future.
