I am a graduate of Towson University where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication, Marketing Certificate and minored in French.
Prior to graduating I began working with Learn It Systems in New York City a national afterschool program that assesses and prepares students K-5 for standardized testing. I am currently an ESL instructor. I work with 5-12 year-old students at various levels to improve their English speaking skills, and comprehension.
While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, Literature, and French. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it is the right of every child and vital for an improved quality of life. While at times it can be difficult to engage and instill students with a genuine love for learning, literature is the perfect facilitator; allowing for endless opportunities to connect with students.
In my spare time, I enjoy writing, reading, curating events, perfecting my French, and learning yoga.
