Hello! My name is Vaasavi, and I'm studying mechanical engineering at Arizona State (Go Sun Devils!). I'm part of an accelerated master's program, and will be graduating with my bachelor's in May, and with my master's degree next year. I've also had several internships and am involved on campus as a tour guide, and as a part of our chapter of the Society of Women Engineers.
I was inspired to tutor and teach mostly because I know how important my teachers were for me-- they helped shape my career and inspired me to pursue engineering.
I love teaching and tutoring math and science at the middle school, high school and college level. I believe that every student can succeed with the proper guidance no matter how challenging a subject can be.
A little bit about me-- I'm an Arizona native, and in my spare time, I like hiking, travelling, and trying out new coffee shops!

What is your teaching philosophy?
My teaching philosophy focuses on helping students understand the fundamentals behind a problem, so that they have a solid understanding of the materials. I believe everyone has the capability to understand math and science, and I hope to help students harness that.
