I am a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, and received my Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a focus on pre-medical sciences. While in college, I was part of study groups and organizations and I saw how helpful working one-on-one with others can be. I also gained experience with teaching during and after college from coaching a middle-school soccer team, helping teach religious education to youth and young adults, and being a student leader for my campus ministry. I enjoy different types of math, especially algebra, as well as reading, writing, and research, and I believe in taking my time to make sure students understand the material. I believe learning can be a struggle but also very rewarding and I hope to help students develop a passion for learning and achievement.
