I enjoy helping people. I also enjoy teaching and especially tutoring English as a Second Language along with beginning English. I received my B.S. in Occupational Training and Development from the University of Louisville which was instrumental in forming my teaching style. I also lived abroad and learned another language, which helps me immensely with my teaching. I am also an artist. I paint in acrylics and also have 3-D pieces. I love dogs. I have rescued 9 dogs so far and also paint dog portraits.

How would you help a student get excited/engaged with a subject that they are struggling in?

I try to figure out the most creative way to get the subject matter across. I have, in the past, used methods from an improvisational class I took.
