Helping students via tutoring began as a hobby for me in high school. While attending UC, Riverside, I continued tutoring through the A.V.I.D. program at a middle school and have continued my passion for tutoring on a one-on-one basis. My experience has been with a general focus on Mathematics and English Language Arts primarily at the elementary level to middle school level. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to help students at a high school level, college specific courses at a lower scale, and adult learners with Microsoft Office. My favorite subject is Mathematics which is the reason for pursuing a degree in Statistics. Mathematics for me has a clear structure and it is fascinating to learn or understand how it is relevant to many aspects of our lives.

My philosophy is to teach the basics as defined by the student based on their learning style and educational level. It is rewarding for me to see their progress and meeting their education goals through tutoring. Other interests include reading, hiking, kayaking, watching movies and visiting museums. I believe that we never stop learning and education, documentaries, books or museums enrich our personal growth.
