While working as an educator for almost a decade I have been able to attain a distinct aspect of education. I attended the following Universities: Sacramento State University, University of Phoenix and Pacific Oaks School of Education. I currently hold the following degrees: Associate of Arts in Elementary Education and Bachelors Degree in Human Development. Ive had many great experiences tutoring/teaching many scholars (students) within the classroom setting from K-6 as a Para Educator, Instructional Aide and Substitute Teacher. I like to view students as scholars and I call them scholars when I address them to instill to them that they will be successful college scholars. My teaching philosophy is based on Erik Eriksons theory which relies on understanding scholars in which helps them be successful within their sessions. I love to write poetry and this aspect of writing has shown to increase my love of reading and writing. All in all, my goal is to make a difference via empathy and consistency.
