I have a bachelors degree in Spanish and Masters degree in Education/Teaching with a specialization in teaching Spanish and ESL. I have taught as a Spanish language teacher for Chesterfield County Public Schools for the past six years, where I've facilitated learning for high school students of diverse backgrounds. I've integrated technology, researched-based teaching strategies, and student relevance into lessons designed to assist students acquire speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. I've also integrated study skills into lesson planning.

Prior to that, I worked as a tutor of Spanish and ESL for both children and adult students. What I love most or find most rewarding about tutoring is seeing immediate and direction results that come from working in an individual or small group setting. With this type of setting, the tutor can more effectively assess the student's level and needs, thereby creating an instruction or tutoring style that suits the individual student best.
