Q & A

What is your teaching philosophy?

You only truly understand something if you can teach it to someone else.

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

During a first session, I would like to get to know the student (and I would also like them to become acquainted with me, as well). Perhaps we could talk about our favorite leisure activities and hobbies, and then we could focus on the subject areas in which the student is struggling. After we pinpoint these issues, we could create a list of short-term and long-term goals together, and we could start tackling assignments/homework that same day.
