I have a master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Georgia. My thesis project in graduate school studied gene activation of stem cells and what made stem cells choose to become specific organs/tissues in the adult body. I have taken several advances classes at the graduate level pertaining to biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, and signal transduction. My undergraduate institution are from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, from where I earned a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Chemistry.
I make a great tutor because I have taught an undergraduate biology lab course and have taken several graduate courses about teaching biology. I have also struggling with a learning disability my whole life and have had to create unique ways to learn and understand science to get this far in my academic career.
For fun I enjoy playing soccer and tennis, and love watching all sorts of movies.
