I graduated from Humboldt State University in 2014 with a degree in Biology. My emphasis was Ecology and Biodiversity as well as botany. I am currently working on obtaining my teaching credential and a masters of teaching science grades 7-12. I have been a tutor since January 2017 and work with a variety of students ranging in age from 8 to 17. I have been mostly working with students on Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry and Writing but would love to tutor in Biology and other sciences. I really enjoy tutoring Geometry because I think it's a lot of fun! I am a visual learner and so I try to bring that to my students as well. I have two wonderful dogs and I enjoy spending most of my free time playing, walking and hiking with them. I love botany so I try to get out as much as I can to identify new species and practice the species I already know. I also enjoy running but my dogs are a little too uncoordinated so it's hard to get them to come out with me :)
