A California native and recent graduate of Yale University, I have over five years of teaching and tutoring experience. Inspired by my love of reading, writing, and history, I volunteered as a Social Studies teacher's aide in local middle school classrooms throughout college. I graduated with a degree in history in 2015 and immediately moved to Saratov, Russia to teach English at a university there. While I am always eager to tutor American and Russian history, I am most passionate about tutoring everything related to writing, from outlining an essay to polishing a research paper. I love discussing different writing philosophies with students and helping them develop the skills to write compelling and effective essays. Outside of teaching, I enjoy learning new languages, traveling, and playing folk guitar.
