I believe that education is the key to success for all students. As a teacher, I hope to motivate students in ascertaining their strengths and abilities and discovering what truly inspires them. I aim to provide a stimulating learning environment that encourages students to trust their own opinions, while fostering confidence in order to realize their full potential.

Q & A
What is your teaching philosophy?
Through my teaching experiences. I have found the method of facilitating, along with constructive planning rather than dictating, to be a highly beneficial style of teaching. If students have a part in constructing their learning experiences, they will not only retain information longer, but they will also become more confident in their abilities.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
I would help a student stay motivated by always giving positive feedback and constant encouragement.
How would you help a student get excited/engaged with a subject that they are struggling in?
To help a student get excited/engaged with a subject that they are struggling in, I would give the subject real life feel. By this, I mean that I would make the subject fit into the life of the student.
What types of materials do you typically use during a tutoring session?
The materials that I would use would be first those that the student uses in the subject areas that are familiar to the student. I would use other books and technology if deemed necessary.
