During my undergraduate studies at UCLA, I held several tutoring jobs in Spanish as well as writing and reading comprehension. After graduation, I joined a company that tutored low income communities. I was provided with their curriculum and trained extensively with their materials. I primarily focused on reading, writing, and basic math for elementary school students. Lastly, I held several teaching assistant jobs throughout my educational career (undergraduate and graduate). I enjoy teaching students how to get organized and develop strategies for effective and productive studying.
I am a license eligible marriage and family therapist. I recently finished my internship in counseling, which is the equivalent of a medical residency. I love what I do because it is very rewarding. Aside from that, I enjoy working out, cooking, watching foreign films, and dancing.

Q & A
What is your teaching philosophy?
My teaching philosophy is highly influenced by each student's learning style. I believe that tutoring works best when it is individualized to that particular student's needs.
