Hi, I'm Mark! I recently completed a Master's in Film Production from the University of Texas, but before becoming a filmmaker, I worked in a cognitive neurophysiology lab at NYU. My undergraduate degree, in "Neuroscience & Music," culminated in a thesis where I taught music to deaf people with cochlear implants and studied how well they could discriminate tones over several months.
When I'm not directing commercials, teaching, or working on my next screenplay, I enjoy reading, swimming, and hanging out with my wife and friends. I originally hail from New Jersey and have lived in New York City, Massachusetts, and Nice, France.

Q & A
What is your teaching philosophy?
When I look back at my favorite teaching experiences, I realize that they all seem to have one thing in common. The teachers really listened to my questions.
