I graduated from Northwestern University, where I majored in Psychology and International Studies, and minored in Spanish. My tutoring experience began in high school as I tutored friends for AP exams and the SAT. I have been tutoring ever since, and now I am a teacher! For the past three years I have worked as a teacher in the DC metro area, teaching Level 1, 2, and 3 Spanish to middle and high school students. I also tutored students for the SAT after school, and I currently tutor professionals who are transitioning to graduate school and need to take the GRE.
I believe that every student has a distinct learning style, and a good teacher helps each student figure out his or her best way to learn. Together we will work to make sure you are successful, even if a subject has previously been very challenging for you!
I understand that with work and/or school commitments, it can be hard to find a time to work in tutoring. I have listed my general hours below, but can be flexible if your schedule requires it. I specialize in tutoring for the GRE.
