I am a freshman at the University of Chicago and am interested in majoring in economics and political science. I love sharing the joys of learning with others. I am very outgoing and love talking to others about any and all topics, making me a very approachable tutor. I am willing to answer whatever questions a student may have and if I don't know the answer, I am not afraid to do supplementary research to find the answer. I pride myself in my patience and work ethic. Also, I have lots of experience with teaching. I have volunteered at my local dance studio, town summer camps and as a teacher's assistant at Early Childhood Education Center Preschool.
I am qualified for tutoring any age, but my strength is test prep. Being fresh out of high school, I have the accurate knowledge of the current curriculum. Also, having just gone through the college admission process, I am very well versed in all things college prep and understand what it takes to get into a top tier school. In particular, I am extremely strong in math.
Outside of academics, I am very involved in dance. Throughout high school, I competed in dance competitions throughout the northeast coast. Now, I stay involved through clubs on campus! My guilty pleasures are reality TV shows and reading. Some of my favorite books are Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell, 1984 by George Orwell and of course Harry Potter.
