Hello! My name is Kelly Schnarr. I look forward to having the opportunity to work with your child one on one to help them advance academically. I'm a big believer in the quote, "It takes a village to raise a child." As a partner in your child's education, I will work with you to ensure your child's success in any subject they are having trouble mastering.
I am a certified teacher in Texas and I am on my 5th year of teaching. I've taught kindergarten, 1st grade as well as 2nd grade and I've worked with students with ESL, AU as well as students who have been labeled ED. I love kids and I love watching them grasp a new concept that once seemed out of reach.
Currently I am pursuing my masters degree from SHSU in Reading and Language Arts instruction and I plan to become a reading specialist in the near future. In my free time, I love to travel and spend time outdoors fishing as well as water skiing. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have and I look forward to talking with you more soon!
