I have been tutoring in and out of the academic environment for the past 13 years. In undergrad, I worked as a tutor for accounting and economics courses at James Madison Univeristy. More recently, I have been a volunteer tutor at Drexel University for economics and math classes while pursuing my masters degree in economics. I have also worked for the last 11 years as a professional snowboard instructor, amassing over 2,000 teaching hours. While this experience is not directly relevant to the academic setting, it has helped me develop a range of soft skills in assessing how students learn and how to work with them to get them where they want to go.
