I graduated from the University of Southern California in 2015 with a BA in Theatre and a minor in French. For the entirety of my junior year, I studied abroad in London for theatre and Paris to complete my minor. After living with a host family, I am now fluent in French.
Although French is my main specialty, I also tutor English grammar and literature as well as all elementary subjects. I also advise high school seniors working on their college application essays.
I began tutoring two years ago when I was an au pair in Marseille in the south of France. While I was there, I tutored French children ages 9, 10 and 12 in English. When I returned to LA for my senior year at USC, I began tutoring students throughout LA in French. After graduating, I continued tutoring for students ranging in ages 8 to 17.
Because I have such a great passion for learning the French language and culture, I am very enthusiastic when it comes to teaching and helping students with their French. I use my experiences from abroad to broaden students' interest in learning French, and I hope to instill in them a desire to study abroad.
The most important thing for me is connecting with students on a personal level so that I can help them in the best, most efficient way that I can, whether it is improving in a subject they are struggling with or coaching them in study skills.
Outside of tutoring, I am pursuing a career in comedy writing and acting. I absolutely love to travel and miss my days living in London and Paris!
