I first started tutoring in high school when my fellow peers would always ask me for help in a math class which then progressed to me volunteering to tutor for an after-school program. Once I started college I started tutoring fellow peer that needed help with their finals. I enjoy tutoring cause it brings me joy to be able to say that I am the reason someone did not fail a class or that someone was able to understand something because of me. I generally enjoy tutoring and learning new ways teach as well as advance my skills in math overall.
Other than tutoring I enjoy watching Anime, playing Magic the Gathering , and playing videogames. This will hopefully relate some students to understand math better and this will lead to a wonderful experience.

Q & A
What is your teaching philosophy?
My teaching philosophy is that no matter what, you will learn something new.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Ask what do they need help with and why. Then figure out where the problem lies.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
By giving them practice problems that they must do on their own with no outside help; if they do not understand, then we have stuff to work on.
