Hey! I'm Tim, a rising college sophomore at the University of Redlands. I've always had a lot of passion for learning and sharing what I know with others. I try my level best to foster independent learning practices, confidence, and creative problem solving in those I work with. I'm pursuing a degree in History and speak fluent French, but I'm always happy to help in any way I can outside my specialties. I'm an avid reader, a dedicated scholar, and available to help whenever I'm needed.

Q & A
What is your teaching philosophy?
Open and honest dialogue between tutor and pupil creates a space where concerns can be addressed without worry of embarrassment or failure. I'm here to make sure people get the help they need.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Ask them what they need help with, what they're currently working on, and if they have any goals they want to set.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
Encourage them to set goals, try on their own at first, and make sure they feel confident in their learning habits.
