I'm very passionate about math and science, and I enjoy helping others learn and improve their confidence in these topics. I recently graduated from the IB program at Robinson High. I will start at the University of Chicago in the fall. I participated in math competitions through Mu Alpha Theta, the math honor society. I held an officer position in the Science Honor Society as the director of labs, planning demonstrations which illustrate scientific ideas. In addition, I was the Vice President of Robinson's National Honor Society.
I have experience as a tutor through opportunities within my school. I directed the math tutoring program, acting as a math tutor as well. In addition, I ran practices for the Algebra II team in Mu Alpha Theta. During senior year, I tutored in SAT. I am excited at the idea of tutoring others because of my own enthusiasm for learning and the possibility of inspiring enthusiasm in others.
