### Luc

I am a fourth year college student, majoring in Mathematics and Electronic Arts. I have enjoyed math since elementary school when I first learned my times table. Mathematics is very important in many fields of studies and can become integral in everyday life as well. I find myself using my skills in math in my art and find myself a better artist because of it. So while I love doing math, I also love teaching it. It is a subject everyone should enjoy learning, and shouldn't be a chore to learn. I am often helping my friends with their math questions, and I get a chance to explain concepts I have learned in a way that may be more understandable. My more professional experiences include tutoring in an after school program over two summers helping middle and high schoolers, particularly in math, and being a physics tutor during my second year in college. I try to explain and teach problems in a fun and exciting way, having some success in the after school program, as the students I tutored always came back looking for me to help with their questions.

When I'm not engrossed in my academics or extracurricular activities, I love to draw. I mostly draw digitally and a lot of the time characters I enjoyed in movies or video games. And that is another thing I spend my free time doing. I love playing video games, and hope one day I get an opportunity to help produce art for a game.
