I have been a tutor for 15 years and was a secondary school teacher for 5 years. Helping students succeed is not just a side hobby of mine but instead has become my career. With my experience as an educator I have learned many ways to relay material to students and in a one-to-one situation I can narrow down ways to teach specific students in ways that fit them best.
I ultimately just want to see students succeed. Helping students achieve goals and better their experience with math and school is what makes tutoring such a satisfying experience. I hope to continue tutoring for as long as I can.

Q & A
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
I like to get to know the student and parents to understand what they are looking to get from tutoring. Taking a look through notes and work help to set the stage for further tutoring sessions. Help with questions concerning the material and prepare for what is coming up.
