I am a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and The Ohio State University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in History with a focus on Early European History from Case and a Masters of Middle Childhood Education from Ohio State. I am currently licensed to teach Social Studies and Math for grades 4-9 and teach 6th grade Math at an online charter school. I have experience tutoring in the Columbus area and have worked with students ranging from 3rd grade through 11th grade. I love working with struggling students and the “AH-HA” moment when a student grasps a concept is something awesome to be a part of. I feel strongly that education is essential for everyone and that students need to be able to apply what they learn to solve problems in everyday life. Outside of teaching and tutoring I play as much sand volleyball as possible, watch just about any sport, play golf, and spend time with my family and friends.
