Hi there! My name is Jessica and I love math! My favorite math subject is algebra, though I did enjoy all of my math classes, including calculus and IB Math. I graduated from high school in 2007 with 4.8 GPA and an IB Diploma and from USF in 2010 with a 3.99 GPA and B.S. in Finance. I was born in Colombia and am fluent in Spanish. I also have many years of experience participating in a voluntary school-type program that trains its students in public speaking and teaching methods.
I know math, test taking, public speaking, and language learning can be very challenging and anxiety-inducing for many people. I was able to use different methods throughout my educational career that helped me overcome those feelings and excel in those areas. I look forward to helping you do the same!
