Education is the beacon of light blazing across a black sea of mysteries, illuminating a path for those that follow it. In a world full of technology, engineering, and design, it is crucial to understand the fundamental mathematical and scientific principals that underline our everyday lives. With my background in STEM and involvement within the community, I seek to help out those that want an extra push within math and science.

Ever since childhood, I was very curious, pestering my parents and anyone around with me with questions as why or how everything worked. This led to a road built out of math and science for me. I went through high school taking 10 AP courses, earning the "National AP Scholar with Distinction" Award from College Board, and graduating with a 4.27 GPA. I am currently a Physics, B.S. major at the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a cumulative GPA of 3.66. I am currently ahead of most of my peers in math as I have already satisfied all of next year's math requirements for the major. My strong background in STEM provides me with the necessary knowledge to pass down through tutoring.

In addition, I have worked with a variety of ages in education. A bulk of my tutoring experience comes from helping peers within my classes. As such I have done much tutoring in advanced courses such as maths Pre-Calculus through Multi-variable Calculus and AP Physics. However, I have also worked with the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Sacramento, where I held programs and oversaw children K-6. I was also a part of SciTrek, a UCSB science out-reach program to elementary schools in the Santa Barbara area, where we went out every week to the Adams Elementary to implement our program within their curriculum. My experience also comes from my involvement with the Vietnamese-American Community of Sacramento (VACOS) and their Vietnamese school, Lac Hong. I served there for two years as both teacher and staff assistant and worked with children from K-10. My positions within these organizations have prepared me to work with a range of ages.

It is my desire to help you or your children succeed in the areas of mathematics and science. Through my knowledge and your passion we will be able to build a road to success.
